The Skatepark

Welcome to the Nowheres Skatepark page
From 1996 to 2009 Nowhere skatepark was home to around 50 local skaters and had at least 200 visitors during the 10+ years it was open. Several skaters of note had visited and commented on the perfect copings and sweet transitions it contained. Designed to maximise the number of lines while retaining a good balance of equipment type, with a focus on use as a training ground.

Skatepark images:

The ramp room was still standing after 15 years in service. A few surfaces would have needed attention within a year, but otherwise the ramps were in good shape. The original Sodium floodlamps were still going strong and it was cold as hell in the winter!

You will find pictures below showing the layout of the park.
